Building a Budget PC



This video shows how to build a budget desktop PC. The components used in the video were as follows:

PROCESSOR: Intel Celeron Dual-Core G530 2.4 GHz -- Socket 1155, L3 2Mb, Sandy Bridge, 32nm.

MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte socket 1155 H61MA-D3V

MEMORY: 8GB (2x4GB)of Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333MHz RAM (CMX8GX3M2A1333C9 XMS3)

CASE: CiT Vantage Midi Mesh Gaming Case

OPTICAL DRIVE: LG bare bones DVD-writer GH24NS90.AUAA50B

In addition, I used an old Zalman 400w PSU and a 72GB Western Digital Raptor SATA hard disk.

After building the PC, I install Ubuntu Linux on it, as shown in my Installing Ubuntu Linux video.
